Spring and Fall Thrift Sales: A fill the bag for $3.00 sale is held the weekend of Chester's citywide garage sale.

Congregation tithes a donation from thrift sale earnings to local non-profits such as the Chester Food Pantry.

 

Chester's Christmas on the River Event: The Nativity is displayed in the sanctuary. There is a soup and sandwich luncheon with Christmas shop in the basement.

 

World Hunger Envelopes are placed in worship bulletins monthly: monies collected are sent along to the ELCA to support World Hunger projects.
